We start young horses in the round pen.  We sensitize and desensitize them
to different objects, obstacles and prepare them for saddling.  Once that goal
is met based on each horse, we move on to saddling and driving with long
lines to accustom the horse to turning both directions, stopping and backing
before we get on their back.
We start all horses in a halter, then side pull
and usually move to a smooth snaffle fairly
soon.  We will start riding in the round pen just
getting some forward motion for a few days.
We try to immediately go to our sand lot and
ride doing the basics.  Then as soon as each
horse is ready, we will take them on trail rides
to cross creeks, logs, go up and down hills and
be exposed to riding on roads and with a
group of horses.

In addition, horses will also be exposed to
shooting while being ridden and off, throwing
a rope and dragging logs.
In addition, if you have an older horse that needs
tuned up or has a specific problem, we can
handle that for you.  We can also work with you
and your own horse to help you with any issues
or just general riding.  Every horse will be given
a great foundation for any level of rider to
progress on to the event of your choice.

Private riding lessons are available with your
own horse.  If you have a horse in training with
us, you are welcome to come by and visit any
time.  Our training fee is $600 per month, which
includes all feed, care and training and daily
turnout.  If you have any other questions, please
email me.
These two horses above belong to Circle-S Quarter Horses.  They are
both 2-year-old that had about 45 days of riding.  As you can see, they
are quiet, exceptional riding horses with great bloodlines not to
mention color on top of that.  Please check out their web site for more
information on the bloodlines and horses available.  As you can see,
we are shooting off of them.  That says a lot about the mind of their
horses.
